Up until recently maintained as a museum, the childhood home of the Braddock family has been pressed into service as additional housing and classroom space for the Institute. Additionally, the increased demands have led to the main ballroom being converted into a cafeteria for both the Institute and those University students on a meal plan. Student reactions have been mixed, and reports of paranormal activity are as of yet unsubstantiated.
"I mean seriously, how much more obvious can you get? 'Oh, walk in holding hands, and we can't talk about stuff in front of the boys that are trying to be friends with us..."
"THen they have to go try to turn Brigid, too. I barely get to freaking see her, they've always got something or other going on she has to deal with. Figures now, I guess."
"Yeah, but how much sense does that make. I mean, they come in, holding hands, they make it pretty obvious, and then 'oh my god Brigid we need you separated from the herd NOW!'"
Alex sighed, slumping into his seat. "I have... no idea," he admitted. "I mean... I guess I can understand liking girls better? Since I do? I mean... they just look better."
Alex snorted a laugh at that. "All right, know what? Whatever. Enough secrets and fighting and crazy drug-dealing teachers and stuff. Anyone want pizza? I want to get pizza."
"Perfect," Alex said, standing up and smirking as, playfully, he pulled Brigid up. "Gotta go see if we can be in town without creating a police incident, right?"
