"...Is there an analogy for that where, I dunno, I'm the guy?" Despite himself, Cal smiled a little.

[Dana Lawrence]

"...I could be the Doug Ramsey to your Warlock," Dana says, "However, that would require us to eventually merge into one entity."

"...Are you coming on to me?" Cal deadpanned, fighting back a smirk.

"No," Dana says, "I am suggesting a plan of attack."

[Calvin Strong]

"Uh, okay," Cal said, blinking. "So... like, what plan of attack do you mean? I mean... all I need to do is track the signal if they ping me again, right?"

"Then you keep them busy," Dana says, "Alert me to their location and I will catch them in the act."

"I... oh. Well, I guess we can do that, yeah," he admitted. He had been rather hoping that it wouldn't be happening again, but how likely was that to happen?

"You'll need to attract them somehow," Dana says, "What's their motivation?"

[Calvin Strong]

"I have no idea," Cal said.

[Dana Lawrence]

"Well, what did they say to you?"

"Nothing! Just... pinging for information and stuff," he said, shifting uncomfortably in his seat.

"Well, then just do whatever you were doing before. See if you can attract them."

[Calvin Strong]

"Yeah, we'll... uh... see if that works," Cal said, shifting in his seat. "So... Dana, right?"

"Correct," Dana says, sitting as well.

"Oh, good. I was kind of taking a computer's word for it there, I wasn't sure it was right."

"Is it frequently wrong?" Dana asks.
