Molly floated above the couch in the commons room, watching television.

Or trying at least. There was never anything good on at night.

Ashlie walks into the room. She seems to be entirely unaware of Molly as she walks over to the TV, apparently puzzled why it is turned on.

"Hey," Molly says happily. She was just glad to come across a student that didn't smell like bacon wrapped around a fresh dose of heroin.

Instead Ashlie probably smelled like hydraulic fluid and heatsink paste to her. Which while maybe not pleasant at least was still a nice change of pace. Meanwhile her head swivels around trying to locate the source of the voice she'd just heard.

Molly swings around, hanging upside down in front of Ashlie. She felt comfortable upside down these days. No idea why.

"You can't see me, can you?" Molly says.

Molly does her best not to look too eager. Not that it mattered.

"Yes! Definitely! I mean, you know. Whatevs, If you want," Molly says, trying to sound casual and not starved for social contact.

"Gladly. I'm told watching TV is not just about absorbing the information but can also be a social activity." she smiles, then scans the couch. "I am having a hard time locating an area in which to sit safely without risking injury to you."

"That explains why I had trouble echo-locating your position." she says cheerfully as she sits down on the couch. "What are we watching?" she asks despite the fact that it takes her about 2 seconds to scan the current broadcasting schedule.

Ashlie nods and after a couple of minutes she looks roughly towards where Molly's voice had been coming from.

"I have a request." she says and pauses. If she weren't a computer it would almost seem that she's embarrassed. "Could you attempt to explain the jokes to me?"

"I like the Sarah Connor Chronicles. It's about a robot who saves the world from other, evil robots. She has silly human sidekicks." she says and the TV screen flickers oddly for a second as Ashlie transfers a Netflix signal.
