Riot had one of her proxies wheeling her around outside. After circling around aimlessly for a bit, they came to a stop at the pond in the gardens.

It looked like she was thinking.

Haley opened her eyes and suddenly found herself not alone. She didn't say anything at first, not sure she wanted any interaction herself, and unsure of who the girl even was.

She was sitting cross legged near the pond, on the opposite side as Riot, trying to meditate rather unsuccessfully.

As Riot went into unpleasantly descriptive detail, Haley could sense something. It was like a high pitched psychic whine that was building and building. It seemed to be coming from the pond.

Yeah, it might be better to focus on the psychic thing.

Haley winced as the whine started taking up more and more of concentration. She looked down a the pond trying to decide whether or not she should try to focus on it more to see what it was or if she should try to raise her shields.

Haley's eyes narrowed. She recognized that SOB from the park. She focused her mind on his reflection, not entirely sure what she was doing, but very sure she wanted him to be in a lot of pain. She lashed out with a crude, wholly untrained psychic attack against the figure.

Haley would feel a lot of resistance as she matched her telekinesis against the walls of reality itself. It was like trying to break down a wall with your bare fists.

Luckily, Haley had some tough fists. After a moment she felt the barrier begin to weaken, crack, and then shatter. Ariel stumbled out of thin air, a look of complete shock on his face as he fell backwards into the pond.

"You....you..." Ariel says, sneering at Haley, "You DARE to get in my way, gene trash?"

She was cut off by his insults, and her surprise turned into anger.

"Listen asshole, I don't know her, but I sure as shit know you, and I don't want you here, fucking around with our people. What the fuck were you doing spying on us?"

It may have been the fact that she just ripped him through reality to bring him here, or it might have been some side effect of her TP, but she looked fucking scary right now.

Haley's eyes narrowed in concentration and she tried to yank the boy's entire body out of the water and fling him into the open courtyard away from the pond.

"No. The only thing you're doing is getting a fucking beat down."

A slight blue nimbus of psionic energy was starting to form around her.

Ariel landed much more gracefully this time, smirking at Haley. He raised one hand in the air and the water in the pond formed into a fist.

"You pathetic little worm. I'm going to drown you and -- " Ariel stopped as several of Riot's proxies had surrounded him, holding on to his arms and legs, "Let go of me traitor!"

The fiery psionic nimbus around her intensified and a blast of telekinetic energy went flying towards him. If it connected it would at least knock the wind out of him, if not crack a few ribs.

The blast threw him out of the hands of the proxies and into the wall behind him. It looked like it hurt a lot.

The wall was okay though.

"You..." Ariel hisses as he crawls along the ground, "I...hhhgggh...I will not forget this."

A small mirror drops onto the ground and a weak and broken Ariel reaches out his hand, touching the glass.

"You can...gghhg...you can die with the rest of London. Traitors."

With that, the wannabe assassin disappears into the surface of the mirror.

Haley tried to yank the mirror away, but missed the small target, and he got away. She screamed at the top of her lungs in frustration, punching the air and inadvertently blasting at the wall of the garden.

It wasn't okay now, with an impressive crack running down its entire height
