'Connor' stood in a training uniform, focusing intently at a rosebush which intermittently shimmered as force fields appeared and disappeared around it.

Nick floated down nearby.

"Some storm huh?" he asked, "Yanno, given it just happened to appear just as I found someone watching the school."

Steph nodded, keeping the forcefield up as she looked back at Nick, tilting her head as she regarded him. "You got lucky and stayed yourself, right Nick?"

"Wait, ....Stranger?"

Steph looked up at the darkening, stormy sky. "...what did he look like? There's plenty of fishy things going on around here lately, and I'm starting to think I'd be a fool to assume they aren't at least somewhat connected. I just got an email from our student Haley saying that she bumped into one of the two that attacked the lighthouse and swapped us all around."

"This guy was big, with a crew cut and a beard. He was way too jumpy and... well to be honest too dumb to be one of them, but he's definitely connected to this somehow. Call it a gut feeling."

'Connor' nodded. "I don't know what to make of him at all...I can't tell if he's a threat, something to distract us from the real problem, or part of the problem." She sighed and finally dropped the forcefield she'd been holding up. "I'll mention it to Will and Asters. Maybe others have seen strange things too, and we can start putting together a pattern."
