Issue 1 Downtime

Isabel was walking in the hedge maze. Sober, this time.

Cal, meanwhile, was walking around, looking down at a smartphone as he continued taking every turn in the maze in an attempt to map the whole thing. "Hm, thirty six percent now... maybe I need to- Oh, hi," he said, his head snapping up as something in his various sensor suites told him that someone else was now present.

"Hey." Isabel said, "What are you doing?"

"Oh, just mapping the place out," Cal said. "Without cheating with a satellite view, at least. What about you?"

"Walking around." Isabel said, "Looking for a place to sit and think."

"Well, easy to get lost in here, so that might work," Cal admitted. "Except for the whole, y'know, wanting to get out part."

"Wandering around can be good too." Isabel said with a shrug.

"Well yeah," he said. "So I guess you got that covered," Cal said with a smirk. "Need me to... um..." he gestured over his shoulder away from her.

"Do what you want." Isabel said.

"Okay," Cal said, looking around. Then, shrugging, he kept going along the same path as her. "So what do you need to think about?" he asked.

"My life." Isabel said "Trying to figure stuff out."

"Hear you there," Cal muttered, frowning and giving the phone a whack. "Stupid crappy Apple products..."

"Sorry, I can't heal computers." Isabel said.

"Please, nothing can heal these damn things," he said.

"There we go." He looked down at the phone again while he started running a search to see if Stark made anything comparable that he could find third-hand. "So what are you trying to figure out?"

"Just some stuff with my personal life. Its kinda boring."

"Life usually is," Cal said. "At least, if it's good it is."

"Sometimes its still boring if it sucks."
