"I used to hunt down the rogue products of mad science and the mad scientists who create them for a living. I worked security for a school that was home to all manner of mutants and seemed to be a magnet for dangerous and strange happenings. I'm pretty sure 'my ex-girlfriend is a goddess' is entirely within my frame of reference." She smiled, reaching out for Sam's hand.

"You've no idea what a relief that is," she said, clasping Natalya's offered hand.

"Hey, you've been there for me. You know my dark secrets... or at least some of them. Least I can do is be there for a good friend."

"I suppose for the rest, there's vodka?" She smirked.

[Natalya Romanov]

"Vodka is the great cure-all," Natalya nodded. "Speaking of drink, and by extension food, we should round up Nailah and go out to eat. I'm tired of eating food on a tray."

"I think that can be arranged," she smiled.

"I know little about Maldon cuisine, so I'll have to let you pick."

"If you don't mind Italian, there's a nice place."

"As long as it isn't served on a tray by someone in scrubs, I think it'll be just fine."
