"Okay. I think I can get us there pretty quick," she said, looking down at her phone and leading them through the maze to a dead end right between the center and edge of the maze, a spot that was hard to get to since most people entered near the school and this was on the far side of the maze. There was a small bench there to sit on and as far as Haley could tell after a brief mental sweep, not a soul around but them.

"Okay. I think we're good here. I can't hear anyone thinking but us. I...uh...well I've never really done this before."

"No...don't really want to either. Grandpa smoked like a chimney and he got cancer. And I don't have super healing. Pot though...I mean...I gotta at least try it since I've tried drinking now."

"Well. I shared a bottle of wine with him over dinner the other night. He's cool...he and I. Uh. Alright so this is going to sound crazy, but a bunch of us, teachers and students alike, wound up getting our minds out inside other people's bodies. I swear I'm not fucking with you."

"Anyhow...he and I switched. So we sort of hang out every once and a while now."

Haley added as an afterthought. "He's also like 3000 years old. Literally."

It is isn't it? Haley giggled, grabbing the joint out of Sid's hands with her TK, taking it into her hand and inhaling deeply, continuing to 'speak' as she smoked.

It's kinda handy though. As long as I don't accidentally broadcast the thoughts to like. The entire area, I can totally talk to people in class.

Haley held her breath and exhaled slowly. "Okay. This is pretty awesome. Way better than drinking," she giggled.
