Back To Nature

The Estate's meticulously kept gardens, including a hedgemaze that students have occasionally described as "sadistic" and a sizeable rose garden. Benches in shaded spots are plentiful, and the gardens are popular to study in on pleasant days.

Mary Ann thought for a moment, then made a scratch mark in the dirt, followed by the word "EARS" and the word "RELAX".

A sigh and then she shoved her head under Kay's hand.

As Mary Ann finally managed to relax, her body began to shrink, slowly working its way back into its normal form as her feral mind receded.

It takes her a moment to realize fur has turned into blond locks, then she awkwardly pulls her hand away.

"Oh, hey, welcome back..."

It took Mary Ann a bit to register the change. "Oh, hi. Thanks." She sat up and started to stretch, but stopped and winced, "Ow."

"Well, my jaw is sore," she said, "but my back hurts... well... hurts and stings." She tried to look over her shoulder to look at her back, having no luck.

"Sorry 'bout the jaw... I have no idea what the hell was up with those spikes though." she says, taking a look at Mary's back.

Where the two piece training uniform hadn't covered, there was a vaguely human-shaped (though no longer human-sized) pattern of welts, probably from where the spikes had gotten her. "Is that what happened? I remember some stuff stabbing me in the back and then everything went... well... red."

"I'll get you a sandwich or something." she offers, totally not looking for an excuse to avoid potentially running into Brigid at the med center.

"Well if you listen to Brigid that's apparently what is totally going to happen if I use her powers, but... ugh, I'm sorry, I didn't... I mean... You only rampaged a little?" she tries to muster a smile after realizing she was making everything about herself again.

Mary Ann frowned. "If you're determined to be depressed, then I'll leave you to it. I'll figure out how to explain things to the infirmary staff on my own."She stepped into the medical center without waiting for a response.
