Mars laughs, "Well, I'm sure bad experience is better than no experience at all."

"At least you could be an example of what not to do."

"I'm almost positive I can do that," she said, leaning back, shifting the ice Mars back into an ice block.

[Marcie Tiboldt]

"You shouldn't be so hard on yourself," Mars says, "I mean, you seem like a really nice, cool person to me."

"I could tell you about all the bad decisions I've made, but you'd be out of high school and headed for college before I was halfway done." She smiled, "But as you can see, there's life after bad decisions."

"Well, that's a relief," Mars says, smiling, "That means I can screw up all I want and things will still work out."

"That's not to say that screwing up doesn't make things harder," she cautioned. "But yes, things can work out."

[Marcie Tiboldt]

"See, you're already a treasure trove of good advice," Mars say.

"Just don't tell anyone else. They'll start thinking I'm all warm and fuzzy."
