I11DT - Slow Recovery ((Open))

The Estate's meticulously kept gardens, including a hedgemaze that students have occasionally described as "sadistic" and a sizeable rose garden. Benches in shaded spots are plentiful, and the gardens are popular to study in on pleasant days.

I11DT - Slow Recovery ((Open))

Nailah is lieing on the grass, soaking up the late afternoon sun. She's still rather monstrous, though her hands seem mostly back to normal and her frame seems less bulky. She's also trying to stop herself from watching the birds in the distance through almost entirely closed eyes.

Steph caught Nailah's scent from a distance and decided to go over and formally apologize. Though her first reaction to the scent was a low growl that she quickly suppressed. Shortly afterwards, she spotted where Nailah was lounging.

"Hi Professor Weaver..." she said a bit hesitantly. Her own body was still quite a bit bulkier than normal--just a bit more "wild" really, as she still hasn't been able to fully force her way back to human form quite yet

"Miss Kaltiera." she says, opening her eyes and getting up on her front paws. "I do believe after what we've been through you can call me Nailah outside of class."

She smirked, "Old habits die hard...Nailah."

"That's what I stopped over to chat about. Just wanted to apologize for things that were said, blood that was shed. I know we....weren't exactly ourselves, but still."

"I think we both were," she agreed. "And of course."

She sat down on the grass near Nailah. "How are you feeling since we got back?"

"Enjoying the new form then? The enhanced senses are certainly a change if you haven't had them before," she smiled.

"I preferred having the muddled head. Less crushing guilt over losing all semblance of control over my wilder side," she sighed. "And I'm still way too wolfy for my tastes. Might have to break down and go hunting or something."

"Enjoying it in the sense of a vacation, maybe. I'll be glad when I'm back to normal. But I can certainly see the appeal, as long as I get to keep my wits about myself."

"There are certainly better habits to try and form," she joked.

"Have you talked to any of the others? I don't know John very well but he seemed...particularly affected."

Stephanie smiled in agreement, "and I when these fangs get back to normal. You think biting your tongue hurts normally?"

She sighed and stretched, looking at her watch. "I should probably go though. I feel like I put half my class in detention today, and we decided to let Tommy watch them. Should probably check to make sure they haven't lit anything on fire or tied him up."

"Good catching up, Nailah," she smiled, rising.
