Issue 12 - Meanwhile, in the girl's shower... ((open))

[Connor Marshall]

"...k at this tosser. Probably thinks he can get me to give 'im a free beer, too..." Connor reached over for a rag to dry the glass in his hand....

Only to realize that he already had a rag, was standing in the shower, and... well, was hot. And female.

"What the BLOODY 'ELL IS THIS!" 'he' shouted.

[Stephanie Kaltiera]

Sometime after the shock had worn off, a phone started vibrating on the counter. Presumably, it was Steph's phone.

[Connor Marshall]

Connor stepped out of the shower, and was briefly sidetracked looking in the mirror before he picked up the phone. Recognizing the number (of course) he snatched it up and answered it. "...Hello?"

[Stephanie Kaltiera]

"....Connor?"

[Connor Marshall]

And that was all he needed to hear. "What the bloody hell is going on!"

[Stephanie Kaltiera]

"...I don't know. I was about to wash my hair and then next thing I knew I was in your bar...in your body. How in the world did this happen."

[Connor Marshall]

"How the bloody 'ell should I know? I was just at work and then the next thing I'm... in the shower..." Bloody 'ell, is she stacked... "An' I'm YOU! What the... wait, you're still at the bar, aren't you?"

[Stephanie Kaltiera]

"I need to get back to campus....how long is your shift?"

Stephanie quickly added, "Listen, and this is super important.....do not. Let. Your temper. Get out of hand. Try and stay as calm as you can, alright? Shifting is....super sensitive to your emotions. It also hurts like hell."

[Connor Marshall]

"Okay, okay, look, you've got my phone, call... Um... Ned. Only Ned in there. Tell 'im that he needs to get his arse down there to cover your shift because the cops are on their way an' you don't have the money to get nicked and bailed out again. Bugger owes me, he has to come."

[Stephanie Kaltiera]

"I'll do my best to do that accent...but I kind of suck at that," Stephanie's Chicago accent sounded downright odd coming out of Connor's mouth. Much as his sounded strange coming from her mouth.

"I'll get him to come, and get back to school hopefully. In the mean time, stay calm. Maybe go get some help. Tell them we swapped and I'm coming back as soon as I can. And maybe...go eat something rare. A burger, a steak...anything to keep the wolf from deciding to come out."

[Connor Marshall]

"Just go get me not fired if you want me to keep calm!" Connor shouted into the phone, then winced audibly as a spasm went through 'his' body. He took a deep breath, trying to focus on 'everything is okay.' "Look, 'f you can't do the accent, just go in the back and punch yourself in the mouth so 'e can't notice the accent. It works. Trust me, I've done it before"

[Stephanie Kaltiera]

"...hurts doesn't it? I'll figure it out. Stay calm. Relax. Are you okay?"

[Connor Marshall]

"Long as you don't bloody get me fired, I'm fine. Or as fine as I can be in this bloody body." Which... yes, is fine.

[Stephanie Kaltiera]

"Okay. I'll call you."
