OOC Character Battle--Living in America

Results from last time!

Alex v. Simon
Alex's fungal spores just overcome anyone with lungs too quickly, it seems, eliminating Simon.

Veronica v. Rhiannon
Yeah, water girl on the Thames is...well it's a bit powerful.

Will v. Calvin
Calvin's shots will rip holes in Will's body, but this is a guy who's taken gunshots and point blank range before, and is eventually just able to outlast the cyborg...if only just, collapsing into a pile of goo afterwords. Calvin is eliminated.

Matches for this week--no eliminations this time, actually.

Morgan "Psyche" Evans (1-0) v. Teri Napliotis (1-0)
Location: A dojo, 4 AM

The former friends face facts in final fighting forays! Forsooth.

Madrox "Talos" Saavedra (2-0) v. Rhiannon "Aquarius" Nightridge (2-0)
Location: Piccadilly Circus, 2 PM

Has the water girl's chances finally gone down the drain?

Bear "Closer" Cooper (1-0) v. Ayami "Mood Ring" Morita (1-0)
Location: In bed! The frozen over-Thames, with notable cracks and holes around in the ice, 3 PM

Um....uh-oh.

Vote early, vote often!

There's no cover for Ayami to hide behind, nowhere for her to run with great traction, so it's gonna have to be a direct charge into Bear's mind--fear, terror, panic, pain, lust, hysteria, ecstasy, anything that will, if not have her flee entirely, dampen her aim to the point where she can at least push her into the freezing water.

Morgan's telepathic attacks are going to mostly go to waste in the swarm. She might have to divert a bunch of attention to minimize the effects, but that should leave enough capacity for her to simply overwhelm Morgan in the physical world. And if the Dojo is sorrounded by at least some greenery that'll only add a bunch of little helpers to both aspects of the fight.

The dojo is in the danger room, surrounded by a stereotypical gardeny area--there's a pond, a tree, and some open space, surrounded by a large stone fence.

Bear has had quite enough with the whole mind control thing lately, plus she has had experience with Ayami's brand of mind whammy, enough to know Ayami takes a moment to get revved up, pushing her emotions into others. Bear won't give her that moment. Plus, she has plenty of charges that don't need perfect aim even if some mind tricks slip through.

First, a flash bomb to disorient her, exploding before Ayami can even decide on what to push Bear's way.

Followed quickly by a pepper bomb to the face, a wooden ball to the stomach, and a sticky bomb to her feet to root her in place as she moves out of mental attack range.

From there, assuming she's still standing, there are many ways to end it. A steel ball to the head for the gore fans, a solid ball through the ice to send her down under the river, a taser ball to incapacitate her gently.. take your pick.

I don't see the way Rhi's gonna dodge MADDIE for long enough to do diddly or squat.

TERI- She's resistant to psychic attack. I'm afraid Morgan will be stripped to the bone.

RHI- There's water around- in pipes, fountains, beverages being carried.. I don't think Maddie can last.

Teri uses 'Om Nom Nom' on Morgan.

It's super-effective!
