About
What is the comic about?
It's about a forgotten land, hidden away from the rest of the world, it's protectors and the adventures they have. It's full of creatures and mysteries that time forgot.

Who draws this?
Hi, I'm Kay. I write and draw Savage Lands. I'm a mutant and I go to Xavier's School for the Gifted in England. I'm 16 years old and originally from the United States, but I left when the Mutant Registration Act was passed.

When does the comic update?
I try to get a new one up 2 or 3 times a week when I'm not too busy.

Where do you get the ideas for the story from?
I just make it up as I go along. Sometimes stuff that happens around the school makes it into the comic in some way too.

Are you Kaylee? Are any of the characters based on real people?
Kaylee is based on me, yes. Some of the other characters are inspired by my friends too and occasionally they suggest stuff that makes it in. No, those are not their real names.

Will you put me in the comic?
Unless you go to school with me, probably not.

Recently, a troll had taken to Kay's comment board. Filling it with demands for erotic art, long posts of ridiculous and disturbing slash fiction, and insulting Kay at every opportunity.

Their latest complaint started with the subject line "Too Many Lesbians":

Theresa policed such comments with extreme prejudice, even going so far as to IP ban repeat offenders if she could find a pattern.

Every once in a while Kay still manages to catch them though, like this latest one.

It seemed to be a single person, but it was hard to tell. They regularly used proxy servers and other computer voodoo to get around any bans.

They also seemed to love responding to Kay:
