Power: Theresa can manipulate weather conditions to generate various effects from wind to localized snow to lightning strikes. Her manipulation of air currents allows her to fly.

She can assess the health of the local nature by making skin contact with the soil. This gives her a general feeling of illness. Feeling significant environmental damage through this link can make her physically ill.

Her link also allows her to draw temporary endurance from the earth. This has the effect of refreshing her if she's tired and calming hunger. However, she can't do this indefinitely as it only suppresses the need. She will still need to eat and she will still need to sleep eventually.

Personality: Theresa can be pretty reserved, even more so since her encounter with Gaea. This conflicts with her somewhat metal-gamer sensibilities, but when you're made aware of just how much damage you can cause, it has a sobering effect. Her mind is still a little fragmented, but most of the pieces have been glued back into place.

Description: Theresa's most striking feature is her eyes of glowing green energy. Other than that, she looks like a a fairly standard college student who is into hard rock, metal, and video games. She's added to the Celtic knot tattoo on her back with twining vines that reach up to her shoulders and run a down her spine to her waist. She won't say where she got those.

Background: Theresa was born and raised in Alabama. When her powers finally began to emerge, her parents started homeschooling her to avoid her having to deal with the prejudice at school. They didn't want to send her to the Institute at first due to all the bad press and the danger they thought the school would present for their daughter. Theresa hated being by herself and eventually, after a number of fights and quite a bit of storm damage from those fights, they agreed to let Theresa attend the Institute.

After the Institute moved to the UK, Theresa was withdrawn from the school and her parents kept her at home. She was caught practicing her power outside a registered class and was arrested for violations of the Mutant Registration Act, but X-Corp worked out a deal to relocate her to the Institute.

While at the Institute, she had a very brief relationship with Kay Haddock. After their break-up, she became something of a recluse, devoting a lot of time to her power. During her experimentation, she actually managed to touch Gaea, the goddess of Earth. Over the course of the final semester of her senior year, this communion continued and resulted in a somewhat fractured Theresa who graduated from the Institute and spent her summer wandering Europe on foot. Returning to school in the fall as a freshman at the University, Theresa seems to be much more in control, but there are still a lot of unknowns.
