Powers: Nash has a natural affinity for craftsmanship. He can create things with simple tools that to a degree of precision that matches the best computer controlled machinery. His powers work by realizing what he wants in his head, his powers then guide him in doing exactly what he needs to do to make that a reality. In addition his powers also give him an overview of the properties of an object he examines.

Example - If you give him a sword, his powers would tell him how to reproduce a close replica if given the right tools and materials. He could also tell how well the sword would hold an edge, what part of the blade will cut best, or a number of other physical properties of the sword. His powers wouldn't however tell him why the original was made with these properties, he has to figure that kind of stuff on his own.

Currently he has some trouble with more complex objects but he is still steadily improving in his abilities.

Personality: Nash is friendly though he can come off as a little odd to some people. He can space out while he is examining something with his powers that draws his interest. He tends to get curious and almost has to investigate something new or interesting he comes across, taken with his spacing out this can sometimes cause problems.

Description: Nash has light brown hair and hazel eyes. He has a overall light build but working with manual tools has given him some muscle. When not working he wears rather casual clothes such as jeans and a t-shirt.

Background: Nash comes from a family that is mostly non-mutants but the occasional one still pops ups. Before coming to XI last year he lived his whole life in rural Pennsylvania. He never had any problems with being a mutant, though that is possibly because he shows no outwards physical signs of it. That however changed with the introduction of the MRA, making him glad he is now far away in England.

Retcon: Nash is the first XI/XU student using the name Artificer, Niles doesn't exist in this universe.
