Power: Anita's power has changed substantially. Though it began as a super powered sense of touch it has matured into something more like super powered awareness, coupled with a healing factor and some superficial feral mutations.

The Awareness functions as a sort of sixth sense, a 'spider sense' for lack of a better term that warns her about nearby movement and especially fighting or danger. This sense can be ignored or missed almost as easily as a physical one, if Anita is not paying attention she could easily miss the cues. She can sense movement out to 100 yards or so, when she's paying attention, and any kind of violence triggers the awareness much more strongly. As a special case, if Anita gets into a fight, and her opponent flees, the awareness will 'lock on' to that enemy. Once locked on it will work much better on that individual, and less well on the general surrounding area, until Anita either catches the foe or he/she/it manages to escape.

She has not lost all of her enhanced sensory ability, but it now manifests as merely a very good sense of touch, and enhanced senses across the board. Nothing supernatural in her basic five senses but well above human norms. She no longer passes out from extreme sensation but can still be distracted by it more easily than others. Anita's healing factor has also become more robust, such that one can actually watch wounds close on her body, albeit with a bit of patience. Like most mutants with a healing factor, Anita has a feral physical mutation, that being the replacement of her canines with a pair of sharp, retractable fangs.


Description: Anita is a Caucasian girl with long brown hair, and green eyes. Her face is more rounded, and her skin has a light olive tone, implying her Mediterranean heritage. She's in very good shape, athletic and toned, though she retains some feminine curves. She's conscious of local fashion, and tries to dress like a typical Brit, but her preference is for 'western' style clothing, boots, cowboy hats, and jeans.

Personality-wise, Anita is gregarious and straightforward, preferring to say what she feels and define things as she sees them, rather than beat around the bush or try and be subtle. Her mannerisms are larger than life and exuberant, which usually wins her friends among extroverts and annoys many introverts.


Background: Anita was born in Idaho, on a cattle ranch owned by her parents. She grew up privileged, but learned to work hard helping out with the ranch. Around her 16th birthday, her mutation manifested, and drove her into a near-coma as she was overwhelmed with sensation. After about five rounds of doctors, her parents were referred to the Xavier Institute. Anita was helped out of her sense-induced coma, and quickly became enamored of the idea of joining an X-Team.

Academically, Anita was a poor student, and still is, but she manages to squeak by with grades just high enough to keep her in the X-Team programs that she cares about.

Addendum: Anita, experiencing both extreme personal drama and extreme power fluctuations, took an internship with X-Corp. To her (not crushing) disappointment, she did not magically become a X-Woman when her power stabilized. She did get a ton of experience and get to have fun adventures, so it was like a regular internship but with more fisticuffs and body odor. She has now returned to the university to bestow the sort of wisdom that only a 20 year old who has been 'to see the world' can possess.

Having kept up her intense training regimen, Anita is in the peak of physical health and athletic ability for a woman her age, such that she could probably qualify for an Olympic sports team, though she doesn't play any sports well enough to go on to win any medals.

While I don't have any objections about the overall end result of her powers, I'd request that the description be streamlined greatly for ease of anyone referencing this.

Given her power's previous sensory focus, the new description does feel a little grab-baggy. I'm not sure how it's specifically fighting and danger if it's still purely sensory. If it's changed focus beyond strictly sensory that's okay, but I'd like that more explicitly stated.
