Physical Description: A broad-shouldered, farm-boyish lad with short black hair and grey eyes with a ring of yellow giving the impression of some strange nebula.

Personality: Steve is a jock, but not of the mean-spirited bully variety. While certainly he is guilty of being a silent party to bullying perpetrated by his junior varsity teammates in his one year of normal high school, he has never been directly abusive to anyone. He isn't exactly introverted, but for someone whose mind isn't remotely above average outside of telepathy, he spends quite a lot of time living in his head. He also has a fascination with exploring the unknown, despite a lack of enthusiasm for the science of doing so.

Power Explanation: Steve is a telepath with a focus on the senses, chiefly vision at this stage of his power development. He can speak telepathically, but only with concentration.

Non-Mutant Abilities: Football! (and other lesser sports)

History: Steve was born and raised in Huntsville, Alabama. Nearly the intellectual opposite of his NASA father, he grew up loving athletics over astrophysics. Naturally, in his freshman year of high school he joined the junior varsity football team. The peer pressure got to him sometimes, but he was a running back and that seemed worth looking the other way when his teammates sometimes abused their position in the high school food chain. That was, until he opened up to someone he thought was his friend about the weird things... thoughts... he had been seeing. The next day in the locker room, he was the victim and the coach, another person he thought he could trust, was the one looking the other way.

His parents registered him for his protection. However, even if it had helped, what's the point of staying in a place where there was no one to trust outside of family? It took them all summer to decide, but when the new school year sped close, to the school England he went...

... and into what was, to him at least, the unknown.
