Powers: Nate is a feral wolf shifter, capable of assuming a half form about normal human size or a normal-sized wolf. While shifted, he possesses superhuman strength and stamina. Regardless of form, he possesses heightened senses and a healing factor that closes minor cuts in minutes and allows him to recover from more serious injuries in days instead of weeks and weeks instead of months.

Nate also has extensive hand-to-hand and infiltration training through his work as both a superhero and an X-Corp agent.

Personality: Nate is a fairly genial individual, though he always seems to have a predatory air about him, either in his eyes or a smile that’s just a bit too much fang.

Description: Nate in human form is about 5'8" and of athletic build. He obviously works out somewhat religiously. His dark hair is peppering with bits of white-grey, including a grey patch in the chin of his beard. His eyes are yellow-flecked blue. Unless he's making a business presentation, he's always dressed in t-shirts and jeans.

In his half-form, his fur is midnight black except for streaks of grey on the back of his head and a white patching on the underside of his muzzle.

Background: Nate was born and raised in eastern Tennessee. When his abilities first emerged, he was quarantined at the Institute as a danger to himself and others. After being released to the student body, he went on quite well, working as one of the high-school X-Men before going on to college. He graduated with a Bachelor’s in History and went on to work as an X-Men as well as a teacher at the Institute for several years, managing to complete a Masters in History in the process.

After the last of his siblings graduated from the Institute, he decided he didn’t like the obvious spotlight that being a costumed vigilante placed on him and he retired from hero work and the Institute and went to work for X-Corp. He’s been a valued agent for several years and has been loaned out to other agencies a couple of times on request. His official title and job has him stationed at the Institute, helping to arrange X-Corp internships for students and serving as advisory security staff.

Reboot Notes:
Powers largely the same as his old powers pre-accident, with lesser regeneration and less size and range of shifting.
Never been married and has no children that he is aware of.
