Powers: Sean is a sorcerer. He can channel the energy of the universe into a variety of forms through the use of spells.
Sean also has a magic sword that he can use as a focus.
Personality: Kind, and fair minded to those he meets. He is incredibly loyal to his family, and his friends sometimes to his own detriment. However, since his experiences with the minions Chthon, the death of Elizabeth, the disappearance of Altamira, and learning his true past he's become somewhat bitter and less easy-going.
Description: About 5'10, short dirty blonde hair, fit, tanned, and with rather striking golden eyes. Often seen in more outdoorsy or work clothes (flannel, jeans, work boots, etc). He seems to exude a vital strength.
Background: Sean was orphaned at a young age. He was adopted by somewhat affluent British family of mutants who treated him well even getting him into an extremely selective private school. Despite his apparently non-intrusive “mutation” both he and his parents decided that XU was his best option for higher education.
Sean spent his early life hiding his magical abilities by pretending to be a mutant. After coming to XU and being called out by Nailah he's begun trusting people with who he is. At least who he thought he was. After his first year attending classes at XU Sean along with two members of the faculty began were forced to investigate strange things that were happening to him. During this they discovered Sean's actual past and his origins. That his family had been sacrificed by the followers of Chthon who had planned to use him as a host for the evil Elder God. That Elizabeth his nanny was actually a bird woman of Aka Ma'at sent to watch over him by Oshtur. Along with Samantha, Nailah, and Elizabeth Sean fought the resurgent followers of Chthon. A fight during which Elizabeth lost her life and gave Sean her sword. The original ritual that had been intended to make Sean Chthon's host and the cultists themselves had been broken. However, Sean had lost Elizabeth the only person who knew the entirety of his real history. Fortunately for him Oshtur stepped in to help instruct the young sorcerer about his past and the art of magic.
Sean has an otherwise clean background, and almost impeccable academic record.
Outside of his academic record the only things of note are being part of a fencing team, and a volunteer with various outdoor education programs.
