The /mu/ portion of the infamous 4chan.org was dedicated to pictures and discussion of mutants and superheroes. Slower than other image boards it was not much different from the others; most discussions focusing on pro / anti mutant flame wars, NSFW torrents & photos of attractive mutant adult stars, profiles of prominent or obscure mutant heroes & villains. Some focused on trying to identify whatever mutants appeared in the often blurry action shots while others showcased the damage to some of London's streets and sidewalks. One popular pastime on the board was amateur pictures and footage of mutants in action. Almost as soon as the fights broke out in the Quad pictures and video from all over London of the XU teams began pouring into the board.

One of the largest and most popular recent threads, entitled "Look what I saw outside my window" was pictures taken with a digital camera from a third story flat which showed a giant female bottom clad in a red-and-white uniform. The thread had quickly snowballed with additional photos and video links posted, most of which taken from the ground at rather embarrassing angles for the subject in question. Other photos zoomed in on what appeared to be multiple individuals riding on the giant woman and attempting to identify them. A popular trend is quoting the original photo and posting a picture of rapper Rich Boy biting his lower lip while wearing sunglasses, with the caption "dat ass" written beneath it, as well as photos of similar expressions with the same caption.

Lora had made several (totally anonymous, of course) posts in /mu/ regarding the pro/anti-mutant 'arguments'. Mostly ad hominem flames against "fucking ignorant, no-better-than-insect flatscans".

Of course, she soon came across the thread with Ronnie, carrying herself and over a dozen other mutants, as she bounded through the streets of London.

Mid-December.

Surprisingly enough for the internet footage and photos from the fight against the giant enemy crab robot took a little longer than expected to start appearing on the net. Most video footage was blurry and shot from as far away as possible. There were some decent shots of some team members flying or attacks being hurled but by far the most spectacular and common was the robot itself exploding. Photos began appearing with text superimposed upon it with captions such as "massive damage" and "crab battle".

Then there appeared pictures taken either quite close to the action or by someone using a powerful telescopic lense. Crisp, clear professional quality pictures of team members carrying the wounded, firing from behind rubble, summoning their powers. And then there were the pictures of the 12' girl in the torn and revealing costume being manhandled by robotic tentacles.

Those ones were pretty popular.
