BBC - In a surprise announcement today, representatives from Buckingham Palace announced that a celebration of the recent victory over the plots of Dr. Tomorrow would be held at the palace itself.

The villianous Tomorrow appeared seemingly from nowhere in recent months under the guise of Joshua Cain, wealthy owner of M Industries. The effects of his nefarious plot have been felt the world over, but nowhere so much as here, in London. The guests of honor, the Palace's press release stated, will be the students from the recently opened Xavier's University, the new headquarters of the team of mutant superheroes known as the X-Men.

"We agreed to allow the opening of this school as a gesture of goodwill between our government and the mutant population," Queen Beatrice's statement read. "Since then, they have risen time and again to our defense, and most recently in the defense of the entire world. This celebration will mark but a small show of our appreciation for these brave men and women who have selflessly dedicated themselves to the good of mankind."

The celebration will be held on the fifth of March, and the exclusive guest list includes members of parliament, as well as members of the oldest of Britain and Europe's oldest royal families.
